Cincinnati Distilling Releases Honey Whiskey Made With Don Popp's Honey
Introducing our Honey Whiskey, the very first product to bear the name Cincinnati Distilling! We teamed up with Don Popp's Honey up in Oxford, Ohio to create a truly unique and authentic honey whiskey experience. We took our American Whiskey and blended a batch with over 100lbs of real honey! We never have and never will just use fake flavorings or sweeteners like some of our competitors. This honey whiskey is the real deal.
You can get a bottle at March First Brewing or FigLeaf Brewing today! Just like our Fire Brigade Cinnamon Whiskey, if it sells well we will continue to make it!
I like that Cincinnati Distilling uses real honey from an Ohio producer instead of artificial flavorings, giving this whiskey a clear identity. That focus on keeping things simple but distinctive also works in Crossy Road, a casual arcade game where straightforward mechanics and quick decisions make the experience engaging without unnecessary complexity.
Blending over 100 pounds of real honey into a batch is a striking detail, and it raises a practical question about how much of that honey actually comes through once the whiskey is diluted and bottled. Honey is dense and sweet, so I wonder whether the goal is a subtle floral note or a distinctly dessert-like pour. It would also be interesting to know if the honey source changes the flavor profile from batch to batch.
